Hear the Sounds of Spring
Posted by NewSound Hearing Centers on February 22, 2013

So the good news came. Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow on Groundhog’s Day and an early spring was proclaimed. For residents in northern states, there is no better news to hear. With an early spring comes an early return of birds, snow melts and trees begin to bud.
Though for some, enjoying these sounds of spring aren’t an enjoyed seasonal pleasure due to hearing loss. For those with hearing loss the ability to hear such high frequency sounds like birds singing is commonly one of the first things to go. Today’s hearing aids can be easily programmed to amplify missed sounds for those not normally able to hear them. By seeking a free hearing screening we can look at what sounds you may be missing this spring and offer solutions to reconnect you to them.
